Eight Earn Commended on All TAKS

    For all students, passing TAKS is the basic goal. The goal to strive for is to earn commended performance on the test.
    Mount Pleasant Junior High School has eight 7th grade Challenger students who achieved Commended Performance on all 3 of their TAKS test, Math, Writing and Reading, they took this year.
    “This is a huge achievement and we are very proud of them,” said MPJHS teacher Brenda Walters.
